Tools and Resources

As we conclude this Leadership Pathways course on being a small group leader, it is important to remind you of the tools Word of Life has developed to assist you. Like all other tools, it is fundamentally important to know what they are and how to use them.
Take a hammer for instance. If you had never seen one before, you might mistake it for a weapon or a paperweight. But with proper instruction, the hammer is no longer dangerous or useless, but very valuable. The same is true of our tools; with proper understanding of their capabilities, their value to you and your ministry will grow.

Multiply Apphttps://youthministry.wol.org/multiply-app/
In addition to your Bible, the Multiply app is a necessity for a successful small group meeting. The Multiply app is designed to help you organize your ministry meetings and empower you as the small group leader.
It is really quite powerful in what it is able to do for you. After set up, you can quickly access each person in your small group, track attendance, and record discipleship progress for Olympians or Fifty1 ministries. With the calendar feature, you can look at your ministry’s calendar and teaching schedule at any time. The app even provides lesson outlines and small group discussion guides.
We encourage your entire team to use this app. When your entire leadership team is using it together, it just makes it more powerful. If you or someone on your team is unable to use the app, all of this content is available to print on TeacherSource: lessons, small group discussion guides, and spiritual discipline tracking sheets.
There is so much more that the app can do, but if you have not yet downloaded the app, please follow the links for Android or iOS. Then, use the instructional videos to get acquainted with the app functionalities.

Quiet Time & Mobilizehttps://www.quiettime.life/#/app/devotional
Word of Life Quiet Times are devotionals specially developed for every age ranging from 4 to 104. We have Quiet Time books for Gopher Buddies, our preschool and kindergarten ministry. We have three age appropriate Quiet Times for Olympians, our ministry for grades 1-6. And, for students and adults there are the Quiet Time Interactive or Quiet Time with Commentary. Additionally, we have an online version of the Quiet Time. With a Quiet Time for each age group, it can be used as a guide for family devotions. As a small group leader, you definitely want to utilize the Quiet Time in your own life as you lead your small group by example.
Included in the QT Interactive, QT Commentary, and online QT is follow up material for students, called “Mobilize.” Mobilize was designed so a student can take a less spiritually mature friend through it themselves.

Teacher Sourcehttps://www.teachersource.life/
Teacher Source is our online database of lessons and resources. Teacher Source is a storehouse of high quality children’s and youth ministry curriculum to meet the needs of your students. Within Teacher Source, you can find PDF and Word document downloads of all of Word of Life’s student and children ministry lessons and small group leaders’ guides. You can also access all of our digital resources like discipleship tracking sheets, verse sheets and tests, game ideas, and a parent connection for each lesson.
You can access Teacher Source by using the link and signing in or by creating a personal account if you have not already done so. If you have already created an account for the Multiply! App, you can use the same email and password to sign into Teacher Source. Also, make sure that your pastor or administrator has invited you to access your church’s Teacher Source and Multiply account.
