One of the most difficult things to do in life is to evaluate yourself. Often, it can be painful and you may not like the results. The same is true in evaluating your ministry.
This session looks at some characteristics of thriving youth ministries and helps you start to move in that direction in your ministry.
After viewing the video, if you could see one characteristic change or begin this year in your children’s ministry, what would it be?
- We have a consistent disciple-making plan in place for our students.
- We have a strong leadership team (Ideally a 1 to 6 leader to student ratio).
- Our leaders are committed to leading by example.
- Our youth ministry meeting includes a time of praying for lost friends and family members.
- Our leaders and students are equipped to share the gospel with their friends.
- Our youth ministry has at least a 25% New Conversion Growth rate.
- We are intentionally providing opportunities for our own students and students from our community to come under the hearing of the gospel.
- We are equipping our parents with resources they can use at home to get their students in the Bible and have conversations with them about it.
- We are consistently communicating our vision and goals with leaders and parents.
